If you are a patient, family member, physician or hospital interested in long-term acute care, we would like to introduce you to AcuteCare Health System (ACHS) Specialty Hospitals.

With traditional hospitals and physicians as our partners, we provide an intensive level of care to patients with acute medical needs that require an extended period of treatment — usually 25 days or more.
Our Specialty Hospitals are devoted to one mission: To bring healing to patients who might otherwise be without hope.

Considered New Jersey’s leader in developing long term acute care hospitals — commonly referred to as LTACHs (pronounced L-tacks) — ACHS has established 25-bed “hospital-within-a-hospital” facilities at two highly respected medical centers:

•  Specialty Hospital at Monmouth, located within Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, N.J.
•  Specialty Hospital at Kimball, located within Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, N.J.

Our patients receive the care they need, at the level they need, for as long as they need it.
